Pakenham Mill, Day 15

Pakenham Mill located in Suffolk was built-in 1831. Today the mill is still in working order producing flour. I have only photographed the mill once back in 2010 for my fourth book that came out earlier this year “Spirit of Suffolk Windmills”. The mill is open to the public so it’s also possible to shoot inside the mill.

Machinery to produce flour inside the mill. I am not normally a user of HDR, however on this occasion the contrast with the bright summer sun coming through the windows along with the dark interior of the mill was causing too much burnout so I resorted to an HDR shot.
